This is a sweet little pencil face doll, packed firmly with cotton, is jointed at the shoulders and hips. She has put-together-clothes. She has a very nice onesie, the a early petticoat and the a yellow calico blouse and a calico trimmed apron. She is play with condition, but the only real condition issue is that she is missing the end of one hand. She is circa 1880-90 and is 14" tall.

Hand made Shaker table mat with multi colored field and a wide brown border. The mats were the product of left over scraps from the sewing rooms in Shaker communities. This mat is 13" by 15" and is in excellent condition. C. 1900

Very nice poplar Shaker bonnet with a label marking the size as a 5. They were also made in size #6 and size #7. The bonnets were sold by the Shakers in their gift shops but they were not made by the Shakers. This one is in very good condition. It does have a few brown stains at the top of the brim edge, see photo. This is just about as good as you can get for this type of Shaker bonnet.

SALE The scarf is probably NH and is dated and also has an initial, Al. It is handwoven and is 38" on two sides and then 47" across the back. It is 1/2 of a square, triangle. It is in perfect condition. The colors are beige, brown, and tan. This is a museum-quality Shaker scarf.

A rock solid play doll with a red calico dress an a blue calico bonnet. She has sturdy little legs and arms. Her face is blank other than her shoe button eyes. Her arms are jointed but her legs are not. She can be persuaded to sit. She is 16" tall and circa 1900-1920 She is a very sweet played with doll.

True to the name this doll is rag stuffed simple and straight forward. Her body is two gingerbread shaped pieces of cloth, sewn together and firmly stuffed with rags. Her eyes are two old snaps sewn in place and they do the trick. Her legs have been bent so many times that she sits nicely. She has on the dress she came in. This is a really nice straight forward hand sewn flannel doll, with a very nice embroidered face. Her body is stuffed and I mean stuffed with rags and she is really solid. She bends at her ankles and that is it. I tend to think that she is from Pennsylvania because of the type of flannel she is made with. It makes me think of the Amish flannel toy dogs. She is all original, the dress if it is not original once it got put in it stayed on. It fits her like a glove and I would hate to try to get it...

Amish sister doll from Holmes County Ohio that are adorable, early, rag stuffed, identical clothes but one has blue and the other green. They are early for Amish dolls on the market, probably date to the 1890's-1910. They are packed with rags giving them a great hefty feel. Condition is not an issue, everything is without rips or tears, but they do have natural age related toning. They sit easily, enjoy company and would like to make new friends. This lovely painted face cloth doll has a shyness about her. Her eyes are really well painted and kind of talk to you. She has a very nice hand sewn body. This is a very nice all original very small paint decorated box. It is all original and including the lock and key but the lock I think been disabled. The boards are thick for such a small box and the nails are also oversized for the box. It is the kind of thing that makes you smile. This is a box that was made with the supplies at hand! This small pencil drawn face doll is all cotton stuffed, hand sewn, wonderful clothes, little pigeon toed feet with worn black socks. Her dress is lined with lace trim, under that she has a blouse and petticoat. The close-up camera shot sees her face as lighter and the pencil drawing darker than it really is. These little handmade Civil War era dolls are some of my favorite. This one has on a heavy satin dress with a brown egg wash chintz cotton petticoat. she has a net bonnet adorned with a white ribbon over real hair. She is wearing the tiniest metal eye glasses I have ever seen. She has little rolled arms and a stump body that never had legs. This is a Shaker hand sewn needle case make by the Shaker sisters and sold in their gift shops. It is a brown and beige silk fabric with a white flannel interior to hold the pins and needles. It is 4" by 4". and is in nice condition with wear to a bit of the ribbon.

This black cloth doll is packed solid with cotton, has a very nice embroidered face, astrakhan hair, and a blue calico dress with over skirt of red. Her arms and legs are continuous but all bend easily after years of being played with. She is 19" tall and is circa 1890.

This strawberry pin cushion has been enhanced with black pins or maybe it was made that way. It is all hand sewn, has ink seed markings, felt top that is faded and is stuffed firmly with cotton. It is the size of a lime to give you a visual idea. It is 3" long. Circa 1880-90

This antique boy doll is dressed in his Sunday best. It was tailor made for him and might be original as well as his great hat. He is sewn into the clothes. He has great striped socks. His face is a center seam one with button eyes and what is left of embroidered eye lashes. He has great ears that give him a lot of character. This is a very nice black cloth doll from Maine. She has a blank face and doesn't look like she every had features. Her hair is mohair but most of the hair is gone, although some still is remaining in the front. She is a nice brown cotton broadcloth. She is wearing soft blue calico dress with matching calico pink fabric trim. She is cotton stuffed and rather firmly packed. Her arms and legs are jointed so she sits nicely. She is 18" tall and is circa 1910.

This could be your lucky day, here is a four leaf clover needle case probably made by the Woodland Indians in the North East. It opens like a book and has three round pieces wool of white wool with green floss edging. The clover is made with green floss. the sewing needle case is hinged with a green ribbon tied in a bow and the latch is also green ribbon that ties to keep it closed. It is in excellent condition. It is 2 1/2" in diameter. Circa late 1800's.
