This is a really pretty embroidered face black cloth doll. She has the very early raveled yarn hair, a fine embroidered face. with a big lollipop head that is held in place by a stick of some kind. She has the broad chest and early small waist of the 1870-1880s dolls. She had long delicate arms with an indented wrist that make her look like she was a dancer at one time. Her underclothes are antique and look like they might be original. She has on black socks, (a few holes), and sewn on black velvet shoes. Like so many of these dolls, she has a white body and it looks original to the doll. She is 25" tall and Circa 1870
