This cloth doll has a beautiful painted face done with a heavy oil base paint. The features are still in perfect condition. The hair is a head wrap with a textured fabric and is sewn on. The arms and legs are painted black halfway up and her hands are mitten shaped with stitch defined fingers. She is firmly packed and very heavy. Her red dress doesn't quite meet at the neck so for sure it is not original but is an old antique handmade red dress that looks good on her. She is 17" tall and is Circa 1880.
