I don't get many small painted face dolls and this one is a very nice example. She has black hair with a fringe of curls around her face. Her eyes are blue, lips and cheeks are pink, she may have a little touch up around her nose or maybe it is just wear. Her body is firmly stuffed with cotton. The bottom half of her legs are brown, they do look original, maybe to look like socks or they are old replacements. She has layers of clothes, pantaloons, petticoat, slip, brown blue and tan dress, that fits her perfectly, apron and a dust cap. On her chest she is wearing a patriotic tin pin. She is a very nice painted face little doll, 15" tall and C. 1880
