I think red is her favorite color, it becomes her. She is 24" tall but she is slight in stature so she doesn't feel or look that big. She has a painted face with the best smile. She has astrakhan hair but it is missing on the top, I am surprised she isn't wearing a hat. She is made with sateen cotton and her nose is applied and looks like it has been recovered with floss. She is cotton stuffed and is very nicely made and hand sewn. I usually assume a doll with flirty eyes is from the 1930's but this doll is older than that without question. I think she is from 1900 to 1910 because of her construction and the hair and the paint on her face. She is an interesting and has a different but very nice look.
