When I find a center seam faced doll with a great nose and chin, it makes me happy. She has pencil drawn eyes and eyebrows. She has on a black wig and straw hat. Her red dress is the early wool print of the 1870's. She has mitten hands and leather shoes, black socks and very nice antique bloomers and petticoat. All the clothes look and feel like they have been on her for quite a while. (I say that because most dolls have been played with hundreds of times and the first thing the little girl does is take off the doll's clothes. The clothes are unlikely to be original unless they are sewn.)She sits nicely and her body is all original and she appears to be all hand sewn. She is circa 1870-80 and is a real charmer.
