Painted face black cloth doll ready for cooking the main meal of the day. She has a painted face, a bandana covering her head, red calico dress, black undies, and sewn on black boots. Covering the dress is a great old apron that is as soft a butter. When I squeeze her legs and body, they are really quite firm and feel like the are a mixture of cotton and something crunchy. She is really a down home girl, with fine looks and lives on the straight and narrow path that her life has taken her. She has been gently played with. She has a forced sit. Condition is excellent with just a missing covering or the bottom half of one arm. C. 1900 17" tall
