The doll is 5 ½” to end of corn cob and another 1” to the end of the skirt. She has a sepia ink drawn face a brown (pate), the silk cap on the top of her head. Over that she has a hat with flowers. I put an elastic to hold it on. I have owned her for 30 or so years. She has a hair necklace that isn’t hair. I just looked at it with a magnifying glass and it is a cord or thread but I think it is original. I have always thought it was hair. Her silk dress is all melted. At some point, a piece of silk stocking was put under the skirt to obscure some of the appearances of the shredding.
She is very early and very nice.
