Very old antique bedpost bonnet stand. It has great patina, it is American, and I love looking at it just the way it is but a great doll bonnet would be wonderful. It is 10" tall and the bottom is 4" square. It makes quite a statement. It has no worm holes and is very solid. The more I look at it I think it could have been used as a wig stand at one point. Circa 1800-1820.
